    I have had trouble logging in my uber account i got a new phone but i can't log in my account...cant register for a new one either its so damn annoying

    If you could kindly hep me reset my uber account i would be greatful i need to use my uber again cant use regular cabs.and when i try contacting your uber support team it hasnt been helpful for a while i forgot my email associated with my account

    I am new to the forum, I have been driving for 3 months like another posted message I feel really alone out here. I tried to contact uber about a situation I had yesterday with a ping I accepted. I drive UberX and when I arrived at the location there was 4 adult women and 2 children, on of which was under the age of 3. I asked if they had a car seat for the child, they did not. I politely explained I could only take 4 in my car and can not take a small child without a car seat. I asked them to please cancel but they would not saying thier husband requested the ride on his phone from another location. I tried twice to contact the person requesting the ride, but was unable to reach him. I finally canceled the ride for too many riders and I was given no compensation for going to pick them up and being in a position to break the law or cancel the ride. My cancel rate was also effected, I then tried to report this to uber but because you can only report a problem if you start the trip. Because a child without a car seat is a safety issue, I called the safety response line, only to be told they only deal with traffic accidents and the man I spoke with acknowledged there was no option of reporting this to uber, he suggested I attach my feedback to another ride I had completed. I didn't want to choose a random ride that did not violate uber policies just to be able to report these people. I feel as though I was punished on my cancelation rate because I was not willing to break the law and allow 6 people to cram themselves into my car and one child who required a car seat.
    After thinking about what should I do if this happens again, I think I should have waited the people out to cancel the ride or call the police and report these women for child endangerment for expecting me to break the law by allowing a child under 3 to ride in an uber with out a car seat.
    How do other drivers handle a situation like this, since I am unable to reach out to uber?

    Hello,

    I am new to UBER and all my documents are active except for the part underneath my profile which states that it is still onboarding. I've been waiting two weeks is this normal? What can be done to make it active, like the rest of my account?

    Hello everyone, I am Charles from glorious Charleston, SC. I want all to know that I am handicapped and Uber was the best thing for me because I could work when I wanted to and for as long or short as I wanted. But because of the star rating system I was fired from Uber, yes, I said Fired! They want me to sit for three hours of videos, then pay $50.00 to take a test for them and they could still say no to my reinstatement. The thing is if I am an independent contractor and I drive my vehicle, they can't legally fire me, but they can lock me out of the app which they have done. Because of this, I now live in my vehicle because my SSI payments does not afford me a place to live. I don't qualify for assisted living and I can only stay at the shelter for two weeks at a time. Before I actually started driving for Uber, I replaced the tires and brakes on my car, I had to get a smart phone and the vehicle inspection all out of my pocket. Uber didn't pay for any of it. I barely broke even when they locked me out of the app. I have been in contact with Uber Support about this very thing but they insist that I take their stupid test.Then I find out that 1 in every 3 new drivers are fired for all the same reasons. That's why they are always looking for new drivers. Uber cares more about the PAYING CUSTOMERS than they do their drivers regardless of what they say or claim. Uber started out being the answer to my prayers only to be thrown to the wolves two months later. I was using the money I earned to afford a decent place to live, now all my belongings are at my daughters place in her small garage and with 5 kids she doesn't have room for me. I am on my own, and Uber was the answer but not now. I tried Lyft but they don't accept my car because they said it's too old and too small. Lyft requires at least a 2008 and a SUV. I drive a 2002 Chevy Prizm good for 1 to 4 passengers. So I am here to tell you that Uber does NOT care about its drivers
