Auxiliary driving technology, such as lane departure avoidance, adaptive cruise control, forward automatic braking, which has ever only been applied in the luxury cars or has ever been a choice for some cars, has now become a standard configuration of more and more cars. The United States predicts that in 2022, all new cars will be equipped with automatic emergency braking function while the price of these cars will be less than 20,000 dollars, much lower than the 34,646 dollars in August this year.

Although lane departure warning system and blind spot alarm system have been shown to be able to reduce some crash accidents, not all of this type of system work well. Sometimes they can even be said to be more annoying than practical.

Nissan plans to deploy the ProPILOT Auxiliary System after making automatic braking as a standard for most of the US product lines in 2018. ProPILOT Auxiliary System will become the prototype of the future automatic driving technology, but now most of its functions are limited in road auxiliary driving.

Recently a reporter from The Verge, a foreign media, test drove a modified Nissan Rogue in Los Angeles. According to the reporter, that car is the best mainstream brand car he have driven. With the ProPILOT Auxiliary System and the adaptive cruise control system, Rogue can keep a safe distance from other vehicles while maintaining a certain speed and not deviating from the lane.

In the foreseeable future, the auxiliary driving system will be popular in new cars of mainstream brand. But now there are mature auto auxiliary driving products, such as CareDrive’s Lane Departure Warning System AWS650, Fatigue Driving Warning System MR688, can be installed in the existing vehicles. Lane Departure Warning System AWS650 and Fatigue Driving Warning System MR688 has been used for years, whose early warning accuracy and ability of accident reduction have been recognized by vehicles of transport logistics industry and mining industry.
